In 2019, the traditional forum will be held in the Irkutsk Region supported by the Russian Regional Development Fund.
The “Baikal” International Youth Forum, organized by the Government of the Angara Region with the support of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District, the “Rosmolodezh” Federal Agency on Youth Affairs, has been held since 2008. Last year the forum was attended by 550 people aged from 18 to 30 years. Amongst the Forum participants there are representatives of 50 regions of Russia (from the Kaliningrad Region to the Khabarovsk Territory), as well as young people from South Korea, Latvia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Australia. The projects in ten various focus areas will be presented at the forum: Volunteering, Youth Entrepreneurship, Career, Dialogue of Cultures, Science and Technology, Patriotism, Building of Environmental Awareness, Media, Politics, and Digital Baikal.
In 2019, the “Plus Seven” Russian Regional Development Fund will become one of the Forum partners.
